Through the inspired leadership of METAMORF Technologies, the facilitator provides digital media literacy training to adults and seniors five weekday evenings from 6:00-8:15pm. Adult participants learn differently than youth so the lesson plans are customized to youth's interests and capacity. For example, youth are introduced to math oriented tutoring concept that provides them with resources to
improve math performance scores. The onsite facilitator or instructor challenges students to challenge themselves by
using various enrichment and engagement techniques.
In addition, the youth, adults and seniors gain knowledge about job searches and online applications for jobs. Several of the participants have successfully applied for jobs and become gainfully employed.
These classes are funded by the Neighborhood Investment Fund and the Lincoln Westmoreland Housing Corporation.
